All-new Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster

The newly developed Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class - one of the most exciting and successful sports cars ever built - is entering its third generation. This all-new roadster uncompromisingly takes driving pleasure and open-air enjoyment to a new level. It blends light-footed sportiness with stylish comfort, a striking sports-car design with total suitability for everyday use, top performance with exemplary ecology.
With its wide stance, long bonnet and short rear end, the new SLK is a celebration of iconic roadster design. The distinctive upright nose stands proud of the headlamps and front wings, giving the car a powerful, purposeful look. The signature single louvre radiator grille with large central star forges a strong visual link with both the new SLS AMG and the CLS-Class.
New-look headlamps with LED technology transition into a dramatic shoulder line, which sweeps back past chrome-finned vents in the front wings – an echo of classic Mercedes-Benz roadsters of the 1950s. The rear end, featuring LED tail lights and LED indicators, houses the largest boot in this segment.
On the SLK AMG Sport model line, AMG light alloy wheels, AMG bodystyling, darkened headlamps and tinted tail lights further enhance the roadster’s powerful styling. In addition, both models offer a choice of vario-roof including the panoramic roof and the ingenious Magic Sky Control version with variable transparency.
