Created Date: 01/11/2011

Audi has unveiled the new Audi A4 - Audi S4 3.0 TFSI Quattro with several facelifts for the 2012 model year, following the release of the updated A5 range in July. The new Audi S4 which is available in the Saloon and Avant versions employs the most powerful engine in the new A4 line - the 3.0 TFSI with 333PS and 440 Nm of torque.

The S4 Saloon's average fuel consumption is a mere 35.3 mpg - with an impressive performance: The new Audi S4 3.0 TFSI Quattro accelerates in under 5.0 seconds from zero to 60 mph and achieves an electronically limited maximum speed of 155 mph. The modified Audi S4 is identifiable from the changes to the headlights, the bumpers, the air inlets and colors, a new electromagnetic steering system which is now a standard across the range, automatic stop/start, brake energy recuperation and ancillary components which are available on demand.

The interior also contains subtle changes in appearance. The S sport suspension and 18-inch wheels featured on the S4 deliver outstanding road grip. According to Audi, the average fuel consumption has improved by around 11% as a result of these updates. Details of the UK pricing and availability are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
