The New Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG Revealed - 2011 LA Auto Show

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG has been revealed ahead of its official debut at this 2011 LA Auto Show which starts this week. For those familiar with the Mercedes-AMG family this new addition will be easily recognizable, it is the third generation of the high-performance sport utility vehicle. The new high performance SUV has been built with the AMG 5.5-liter V8 bi-turbo engine with an output of 518 hp and torque of 516 lb-ft. The main features of the AMG 5.5-liter V8 include a spray-guided gasoline direct injection with piezo injectors, ECO stop/start system, an all-aluminum crankcase, four valves per cylinder with camshaft adjustment, air-to-water charge air cooling and very effective alternator management.
The new Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG definitely outperforms its predecessor with better efficiency, giving the driver an awesome driving experience. The exterior design is stylish and sporty while still retaining the AMG features. The interior is built with genuine leather AMG power sport seats Dashboard, armrests and door with double topstitching. The safety features have also been improved with LED daytime running lamps, fiber-optic / LED tail lamps, Adaptive High beam Assist and a driver's side knee airbag.
According to the, Chairman of Mercedes-AMG GmbH Ola Källenius “ The 2012 ML63 AMG like its predecessors sets new standards in terms of performance, exclusivity and an outstanding driving experience - plus the efficiency factor, which is acquiring ever greater emphasis at Mercedes-AMG. As the inventor of the high-performance SUV, we remain true to the philosophy which we introduced in 1999 with the 2000 ML55 AMG and continued with the 2007 ML63 AMG."
The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG is said to have a fuel consumption of 24mpg and emit just 276 grams of CO2 per kilometer. Look out for the new ML at the LA Motor show starting on 18th of November.
