New Jaguar XF Sportbrake

Created Date: 25/11/2011

Spy shots of the yet to be revealed 2012 Jaguar XF estate named Sportbrake have been released. As expected it looks good, practical and stylish with its five doors, although there is a bit of a camouflage on its rear in the images that were captured so it’s not really clear what the rear of the car will eventually look like. With the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, jaguar now has a car which can compete with cars like Audi A6 Avant, BMW 5 Series Touring and the Mercedes E Class estate.

The XF estate is a bit longer than the saloon with the usual fold-down seats, added rear headroom and an electric boot operator. The engine will be the same as that of the current XF with options of either a V6 diesel or V8 petrol. It is expected to be the first XF to come with a four wheel drive.

It will be officially revealed at the March 2012 Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale towards the end of 2012 but we won’t be surprised if goes on sale earlier as it looks ready for a drive already from the images. Check out more pictures here.
