The New A6 Allroad Quattro

Audi has announced the launch of the new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro. The new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro will showcase the now-familiar sleek, dynamic design of the new A6, as well as Audi’s trademark luxurious interior and the Allroad epitomises Audi's philosophy of “Vorsprung durch Technik”.
The new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro will be launched with a choice of three engine options, one petrol and two diesel variants consisting of a powerful 3.0 TFSI quattro 7-speed S tronic with 310PS, a 3.0 TDI 204PS quattro S tronic and a 3.0 TDI 245PS quattro 7 speed S tronic with torque of up to 580Nm. The diesel engine comes with a Diesel Particulate Filter as standard (DPF). The 3 engines feature the Audi modular efficiency platform –the start-stop system and innovative thermal management. It extends the range of the A6 Avant with improved performance reduced fuel consumption by as much as 20% compared to the previous model.
The key standard equipments that the new Audi A6 Allroad Quattro will come with include 18-inch 5-arm design alloy wheel with 235/55 R18 tire, Audi Drive Select with new efficiency mode, Electromechanical parking brake , MMI navigation (SD card-based), MMI radio plus with 6.5-inch colour retractable display, two SDHC card readers (up to 32GB) and single CD player, Audi sound system with 180 watt amplifying capacity, Mobile telephone preparation –Bluetooth interface, Driver information system (DIS) , Cruise control, Light and rain sensors with auto dimming rear view mirror, Audi parking system plus (front and rear), Tire pressure monitoring display.
All models of the new Audi A6 Quattro will have latest development of Quattro permanent all-wheel drive built with self-locking centre differential. The all wheel drive system which has a compact and lightweight construction dispenses power automatically as necessary in a rapid and dynamic manner. The interior has high quality finishes with a layout and materials you would expect from Audi with easy to navigate infotainment systems, supported by the latest technology platform and a modern dashboard. There are also a range of optional interior colours and inlays available, in all you can expect an interior that exudes style and elegance with a wealth of safety and convenience features
The New A6 Allroad Quattro will be officially luanched in the UK from May 2012 with prices starting from £43,145 but will be open for ordering from february 2012.
