I have had 4 Golfs now all different specs and i cant say that i have a favourite i think they are all great, in the words or Mr Kipling "VW make excedingly good cars".

My Golf is okay; it does its job, but I would definitely go for a bigger engine next time, as I could do with a bit more power on the motorway. But - other than that - the Golf is generally refined, comfortable and pleasant to drive.

The Golf is refined and comfortable, but remains fun to drive. The cabin is classy and practical; it's one of the best all-rounders I have driven. The Bluemotion model is our Green Small Family Car of the Year.

I have the Golf GT model and it is simply a fantastic car! The engine is great; fast and powerful. The handling is wonderful - as you expect. And inside is just oh so comfortable. I am constantly on the road for work, and this car is brilliant for the long motorway journeys - and just as great for the short jolly around the town. If I was to be greedy I wish the sat-nav system was in-built as standard, but do not take that away from how good this car is. In a word: Superb!

5 Stars I\'m on my 3rd Golf; it\'s gotta be good 19/01/12

I have had three VW Golf in a row and can’t see myself ever getting anything else! It is by far the best vehicle I have driven, as it is great for the motorway, has great acceleration for overtaking and still manages to return about 51 miles to the gallon. I have 2 children and there is more than enough room inside the vehicle and ample boot space too.
